Field Days Planned
At Substations
Varietal test plots, fertilization experiments, and chemical weed "control studies will be included in the research projects to be viewed by farmers, professional agricultural workers, and others, at fields days scheduled at outlying field units of Vi rginia Agricultural Experiment Station in Aug.
The most accessable field day for Rappahannock farmers will be held at the Piedmont Field Station at Orange on Thursday, Aug. 24. Speakers at Orange will <be announced later.
Youth Choir 'Entertained
The ladies of the W.S.C.S. of Washington Methodist church, entertained the members of the youth choir and their friends at a picnic in the Fire Hall last Wednesday evening from 4 to 6. Rev. and Mrs. N. J. Flythe and daughters were present, making a total of 36 present.
