Washington, D.C., called- this week ' for information on spraying his corn by air plane for Japanese beetle control. Mr. Bray purchased the N. P. Anderson farm near Amissville. Other fanners pre urged to watch their fields closely to see whether the beetle is eating the corn silk and if so get to work spraying. Saturday morning I saw Mrs. Holmes Hall's crew out with a conventional type sprayer fighting the Jap beetle in her corn which is planted on the contour.
