Rev. W. Fred Sliger, pastor of University Heights Baptist church of Tallahassee, Florida, will eonduct a series of revival services at Forest Grove Baptist church, beginning Monday, August 14, and continuing through August 30. Rev. Fred Sliger is a brother of Rev. M. E. Sliger of Flint Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Amos Smith of Amissville, have announced ’the approaching mar-, riage of their daughter, Miss Lucy Mae Smith, and Floyd Brown Hitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shelton Hitt’of Washington.
A double ring ceremony will be solemnized at the Baptist parsonage in Flint Hill -Saturday morning, August 5, with the Rev. M. E. Sliger, pastor of the Flint Hill Baptist church officiating.
The bride-elect will be attired in a pink sheer dress with blue accessories and she will wear a corsage of white roses. >
Alter a short wedding trip, the couple will make their home with the bride’s parents at Amissville.
