(Continued from page 1.) were scored on demonstration* given at this meeting and on cumulative club records as well as on project accomplishments of 1950. /' Miss Hallie L. Hughes, State girls' 4-H Club leader, Miss Mary Lucille Graves, assistant State club leader, and Mrs. Mary L. Thompson, assistant State foods specialist, were among the judges. Miss R. Belle Burke, district home demonstration agent, was in charge of arrangement, and was assisted by Miss Virginia Rucker, home agent in Madison county.
Three 4-H girls entered the Area contest from this county. They were: Bonnie Gentry of Flint Hill, Evelyn Mills, of Hunt■ ly, and Tiny Gentry of Flint HilL Bonnie Gentry came in second in , the Food Preparation Contest, she received a red ribbon. Bonny gave a very excellent demonstration on ■ "How to Make a Tossed Salad and a French Dressing.” Evelyn Mills placed third in the Clothing Construction contest, and won is white ribbon. Evelyn Mills displayed a very attractive cotton dress. Tiney Gentry came in third in the Room Improvement contest. Tiney gave a very interesting demonstration to the group present, on how to tuft a rug. Tiney will have a better chance next year of winning a better place. She was not of age this year. Tiney received a white ribbon. .
