Gunter AFB. Ala.—2nd Lieut. Lucy M. Reager of Huntly, has completed the orientation course for United States Air Force nurses here.
Lt. Reager was given familiarization instruction covering administrative procedures, military medicine and medical service support of USAF objectives. She is being reassigned to Dyess AFB, Tex., where she will join the nursing staff.
She is the daughter of Charles T. Reager of Huntly. A graduate of Warren County High School, Front Royal, her mother is Mrs. Viola R. Jones, 236 Fletcher St., Front Royal.
Lt. Reager received her nurses training at Grace Hospital School of Nursing at Richmond.
Word has been received from Private Daniel C. Clater, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Clater that he has arrived safely in Germany and will be stationed with the Medical Corps at the Army hospital there. William Albert Fletcher and John Richard Turner enlisted in the U. S. Army and left on Monday for Baltimore where they were inducted.
