The Senior class had their first meeting for the year Friday and elected the following officers: President, Charlie Smith; Vice - President, Doug Atkins; Secretary, Tommy Fincham; Treasurer, Doris Dodson; Reporter, Alice Wood. Mrs. Palmer and Mr. Skinner are the class advisors. A few class projects were discussed at the meeting, though ho definite action was taken.
Did you realize that this will be the 13th graduating class of Rappahannock High?
According to our handbook we can expect fire drills each month. However, it looks like we just haven’t gotten around to that yet.
The Army has graciously supplied the Senior class with book covers, suggesting that we Strengthen America and Join the Army!
Club meetings began Thursday. Several new ones are on the agenda. Among the Future Nurses Club, Knitting Club, Stamp and Coin Club, Pep Club, 8th Grade, Home Ec. Club, Craft Club and Meteorilogical Club. You’ll hear more about these later.
