James Henry Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Green of Culpeper County, was elected the Star Superior Farmer of the Booker T. Washington Section at the NFA National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday of this week and received a check for $350.00 plus a gold key.
James completed 3 years of vocational agriculture at the Carver Regional High School. He stopped school in 1960 to assume the responsibilities of managing and operating the 284 acres owned in partnership by him and his father. His current farming program consists
