David Lyne spent the weekend at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. On Sunday he returned to Orange where he is a student at Woodberry Forest.

Among those attending the Open House at the Madison Extension of the U. of Virginia on Sunday were Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Miss Barbara Jones and Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Kilby.

Mr. B. R. Cox returned on Thursday after observation at Mt. Alto Veteran's Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Cox and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. were luncheon guests on Friday at Wayside Inn, Middletown.

Mrs. Charles W. King and Mrs. Thomas L. Eastham entertained Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Crawford of Arlington at a luncheon at Ben Venue on Wednesday. Later that afternoon they were visited by Mr. and Mrs. John Sumner Wood and their daughter-in-law, Mrs. John Sumner Wood, Jr. of
