Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Thornhill and Mrs. T. S. Kilby were Mr. and Mrs. Pollack Mullen and Miss Edith Walker of Alexandria. Irvin Sullivan was a Sunday dinner guest of the Thornhills and Mrs. Kilby. Sunday afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Kilby and son of Alexandria. Thomas Kilby is the grandson of Mrs. T. S. Kilby. The Misses Betty and Jean Kennedy were home from Arlington for the weekend, they were accompanied by Miss Sherlean Dodson of Arlington. The Misses Kennedy, Miss Dodson and Miss Mabell Lamb spent Saturday at the Va. State Fair at Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Boles Mudery and sons of Manassas spent Sunday as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gid Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jenkins.

Mrs. Iris Brooke and her daughter Mrs. Melissa Johnson and sons were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Baber, jr., of Arlington.
Mr. and Mrs. Barton Quaintance and children of Wilmington, Del. stopped by at the home of Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Quaintance on Sunday, taking Mrs. Quaintance with them for dinner at Big Meadows on Skyline Drive. After dinner they drove on to Waynesboro where they visited friends. Barton Quaintance and family formerly lived in Waypeshoro.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jenkins visited her aunt Mrs. Carrie Dodson of Nethers Mills on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins and family who formerly lived with his parents, the Alfred Jenkins at Boston, have purchased property on the Sperryville Pike arid moved into their new house on Friday.
Curtis Lee Weaver is driving the Culpeper High School bus that goes through Slate Mills.
