Mr. and Mrs. Philip Edge of Charlotte, N.C., were Thursday visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. On Sunday Mrs. Anne Eastham and son, Warren, of Alexandria and Mrs. Warren Eastham of Shady Side, Md., called on Mr. and Mrs. Cook.
Mrs. Joe Jenkins and Mrs. J. P. Cook spent several days last week in Richmond. On Monday they attended the Virginia State Fair.
Mrs. Joe Jenkins has returned to her position of secretary to Mr. E. M. Mathews after a weeks vacation spent in Washington, D. C. and Richmond.
Miss Ruth Stevens attended the Virginia Baptist Home’s Harvest Home Day in Culpeper on Friday.

Abbott Ritchie, Mrs. Maxine Cary, Mrs. Joel Jenkins and Mrs. James Grimmer. Also Mrs. E. Rosengarten and Mrs. Randolph Foster who are fortunate enough to win a dress as a door prize.
Curt Jepson of Norfolk was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. He had a week-end pass from the Bethesda Naval Hospital where he has been for the past 6 weeks due to an automobile accident. He expects to be released from the hospital soon.
