Tnis is a most wortny cause as you all know, so now folks, if you haven’t yet visited the sale go this weekend and see the lovely things they have at very special bargain prices.
Next week-end I am going North to visit Stew and Evie and believe me 1 am going looking like country coming to town. But I will bet you one thing - all the people along the road would love to have just one of the delicious apples from Rappahannock.
In church yesterday Brochures of Rappahannock County were enclosed with the Bulletin. A very good job has been done with this brochure. If you haven’t seen one, by all means do so. Very interesting.
It has been nice seeing Elizabeth Revercomb, another Rappahannock girl in town recently. Wish she could be here longer.
I talked to my little niece,
j Maria Meade Brent in Richi mond today and she was so ex| cited about all her new clothes ! and wanted me to come down ! next week-end to see them. I I told her I could not as I was going to New York And she said “Will you please come before they are too old.” There must be a moral in this. I think there is. Let’s visit our friends more, before we are all too old.
Jessie Cox left her glasses at the Rummage Sale Saturday and was afraid they would be sold. Reminds me of the time I sold Brucie Bruce’s coat at an auction sale.
