The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on April 17, 1969, adopted the following amended <>r new regulations pursuant to Sections 29-1*5, 29-12*6 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, to become effective Julv 1, 1909.
CHAPTER 18. Turkey.
R 18-1. '^Except as otherwise specifically provided in the general statutory law and in the regulations appearing in this chapter, it shall be lawful to hunt turkeys from the third Monday in November through the third Saturday in December, both dates inclusive, m the counties east of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

CHAPTER 17. Squirrel. R17-7. It shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from October 1 through October M, both dates inclusive, and from the third Monday in November through January 51. both dates inclusive, in the counties of Accomack, Bedford, Culpeper, Fairfax (except that section closed to all hunting i, Fauquier, Isle of Wight, Loudoun, Nansemond, Northampton, Prince William and Rappahannock, in the citv of Chesapeake and within the boundaries of the Marine Corps Base, Quantico.
