It is interesting to note that in Rappahannock County in 1968 the taxpayers were taxed $5.00 per $100 of appraised value. However, since the assessment ratio in Rappahannock County was only 8.9^ of true value, the true tax rate here was only 45 cents. (See more complete summary on front page.)
