Sperryville Bridge Club Met at Rosewood

Mrs. Charles H. Estes was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday night at her home Rosewood. Her guests were Mrs. E. N. Montague, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Cozie Sullivan, Mrs. Edward Haggerty, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Roy Reeve and Mrs. Lucio Kilby. High scorer was Mrs. Pillar, second high, Mrs. Haggerty and Mrs. Cordle won Bingo.

Melody arid C.M. Green were guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. D.D. Miller, Jr. and children at Fairfax.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Willoughby of Unionville were recent supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Compton.

Mrs. Ruth Glascock was enrolled as a new member of the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary at the May meeting. At this time Mrs. Mabel Waggoner of Warrenton was a visitor of the group.

Mrs. Sarah Latham, accompanied by Mrs. Earl Mann of Suitland, Md. and Mrs. David Streagle of Burton, S.C., attended an open house at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Peck in Herndon Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and children Lisa and Robert and Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Priest were guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rhodes and family in Woodbridge.

The Rev. and Mrs. John Hodge of Fredericksburg spent Sunday in the area and attended the Ordination of the Rev. John Gabbert at Forest Grove Baptist Church.
