OBITUARIES
Mrs. Jessie W. Saunders
Mrs. Jessie Wood Saunders died Friday, May 30, 1969 at her home Meadow Brook Farm in Culpeper at the age of 93. > Mrs. Saunders was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Charles B. and Mary Miller Wood, and widow of V. Lee Saunders.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William T. Griffith of Culpeper, Mrs. Glen D. Smith of West Nyack, N. Y. and Miss Jessie Catherine Saunders of Staunton; four sons, V. Lee Saunders of Bethesda, Md., R. Ashby Saunders of Charlottesville, Charles W. Saunders and Carter A. Saunders, both of Culpeper; 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Culpeper Masonic Cemetery Sunday conducted by the Rev. John Farrar.
