Two new members were inducted by Vice-Pres. James Harper. These were Billy Colvin and Robert H. Hitt, who joins his dad Edward J. and granddad Edward R. for form a three generation membership span.

Committee reports by Aubrey Curtis set urnttlmfributions to the local chunmes for their Daily Vacation Bible Schools. For Education, H. R. Terhune reported the selection of two outstanding Senior Rappahannock High School students for awards on graduation night June 6th and for the Safety Committee John Gilespie received a vote of confidence to proceed with work on warning approach lights for the Amissville Fire Dept. Chairman Charles Priest of the Finance Committee set the date of July 5th for the Club’s annual barbecue.

Pres. Gilbert Lawrence read an invitation to the Club from the Brandy Ruritan Club to attend the important Zone 4 dinner with the National Ruritan president Kelly Chapman of Grottos, Va. as the speaker of the occasion.
