Administration expenses in the Welfare Department allow for personnel salaries totaling $23,910. At present we have a Superintendent of the department and a secretary whose combined salaries total $12,660; there is an allowance for two additional employees, a social worker and an eligibility technician whose combined salaries would be $11,250, if we had them. Until a few weeks ago, there was a social worker at the office here. Other expense's include a travel allotment of three thousand dollars for staff and Welfare Board, insurance, retirement, etc. amounting to $2,300; office supplies, postage, phone, telegraphs and office machine repairs must also be taken care of.
