Adult Ed Classes
Advanced registration will be necessary for all men and women who wish to attend the adult education classes scheduled to begin in January. Registration deadline is November 30 for classes which can include upholstery, typing, welding, small engines, chair caning, carving, home appliance repair and furniture refinishing. There must be at least ten persons signed up for each class to make its presentation feasible.
These classes have been popular for the past three years and have netted excellent results. They are held at Rappahannock County High School from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday evenings for nine weeks. The first class is scheduled for January 7, 1971.
A fee of $5.00 is charged for each class and $1.00 must accompany the application for registration. The remaining $4.00 will be paid at the opening of the classes. Those enrolled will also be required to furnish whatever materials they will need for various courses. Registration for a class may be made by sending the $1.00 to Mrs. Mary Cleverley, Box 8, Flint Hill, Va. 22627, along with your choice of class indicated.
