Woodward
A funeral service for Thurman Ambers Woodward of Warrenton was held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Thornton Gap Primitive Church, Sperryville, conducted by the pastor, Elder W. T. Daily. Interment was in the family section of the Warrenton Cemetery. Mr. Woodward, 66, died in Fauquier Hospital on November 3, 1970 following an illness of several months. He was a retired carpenter and was the son of the late James A. Woodward and Lillie Baker Woodward of Sperryville.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mabel Bowen Woodward of Warrenton; a sister, Mrs. Luther Printz of Culpeper, and three brothers, Jon M. of Catlett, Charlie H. of Remington and David L. Woodward of Culpeper.
Geest Funeral Parlors were in charge of arrangements.
