Wreck* Reported A large buck deer taking a pre-hunting season stroll Sunday [ evening was struek and killed about 6:30 by a motorist'Oh Route 211 west of Amissville. The 1966 Mustang operated by Andrew John Kennedy of Lorton received damages in the amount of $150. No injuries to driver or passengers occurred. A replacement value of $100 is set on a deer. Trooper W. A. Buntin investigated the crash. Two vehicles were involved in a collision on the new by-pass area a mile east of Washington, Va. Monday evening. According to Trooper J. C. Lawson of i Culpeper, one car was stopped by , a highway flagman and was struck , by another motorist traveling the • same direction. Herbert Smoot of Washington was stopped for road , construction machinery being , moved and was struck by Hester ; Groves of Front Royal. She i braked to stop her car and ■ skidded into the side of the [ Smoot car. Hester Groves was charged with reckless driving, said * Trooper Lawson.
