Mr. Titchenell’s Government classes had some experience Monday on court nrocedure when they attended the Circuit Court in Washington, Va. They heard several cases iiscussed and scheduled. Judge Snead had each officer of the 2ourt explain his duties to the ■tudents. It was quite a learning experience. The Juniors have really sold the :andy this week. Everywhere you turn you see someone with the :andy in his hands. The candy is ilmost gone so be sure to get >ome before it’s all gone. The annuals will continue to be in sale for those who are a little forgetful until next Monday, rhat, however, will be the final lay for sales. Mr. Harrison had his Senior English class learn a poem which jveryone will probably enjoy so ve would like to share it with /ou. It was written by Robert Browning. “The year’s at the spring And the day’s at the mom; Morning’s at seven; The hillside’s dew-pearled; The lark’s on the wing, The snail’s on the thorn God’s in his heaven - All’s right with the world.” This is the type of poem to get ip to in the morning. It may even irighten up your day. Hie cheerleaders are busy at vork making posters to arouse ipirit for the new basketball ;eason. This Saturday, Iso, the lunior Varsity and Varsity :heerleaders will attend a clinic at rurner Ashby High School to earn some new cheers and jumps, rhey intend to work together vith the team to make this a ;reat season!
