The November term of the | Rappahannock County Circuit Court opened Monday with Judge R. V. Snead presiding. At this ' time a grand jury acted and the court docket was set.
Harry M. Hart of Culpeper was indicted by the grand jury on a charge of murder lodged against him following the death July 19 of Eric Carlton Davis of Warrenton. Hart alledgedly shot Davis the previous night at Flatwood Inn near Washington, Va. Hart was not arraigned Monday, however, for on motion of the court, he will be sent to the hospital at the state penitentiary at Richmond for treatment of a physical illness.
After several postponements, , the trial of Walter Clifford Groves of Jeffersonton was set for December 7 with a jury. Groves is charged with the slaying of i Thomas Haines near Flint Hill on ; April 18.
