Mrs. Clarence Hume
A funeral service for Mrs. Annie Margaret Hume, wife of Clarence C. Hume of Culpeper, was held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Geest Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Woodville Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Ellis and the Rev. John McKay conducted the services.
Mrs. Hume, 76, died November 6, 1970 at the residence of her daughter where she had made her home for the past three years. She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Henry Scott and the late Emma Grimsley Scott. She was a member of Alum Spring Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, William R. Hume of Gainesville and Clifton C. Hume of Warrenton; one daughter, Mrs. Franklin Butler of Culpeper and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. B. Burke, Chester Wayland, Lester Wgyland, John Williams, Harry Mills, Charlie Bayne, Fulton Lucas and George Butler.
