Mrs. Ada Jenkins
A funeral service was held for Mrs. Ada Blanche Jenkins, 90, of Nethers, Tuesday at the Culpeper Baptist Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. John Farrar and the Rev. George Johnson conducted the service. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Mrs. Jenkins, the widow of Henry Pierce Jenkins, died November 7, 1970 at the Gordonsville Community Hospital after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Smith Coates of Madison.
She is survived by her sister Mrs. Nettie Printz of Culpeper; four daughters, Mrs. Augusta F. Hasse and Miss Mary B. Jenkins, both of Nethers, Mrs. James E. Lamphier of Culpeper and Mrs. John H. Mack of Hyattsville, Md. Also surviving are four sons, Walter P. Jenkins of Culpeper, Lyle Jenkins of Fredericksburg, John W. Jenkins of Etlan and Woodrow W. Jenkins of Potomac, Md.; 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Hasse, Henry Kuhn, Chester Kuhn, Robert Jenkins, Henry Jenkins, Stephen Jenkins, James Lamphier and Clifton Taylor. Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
