A NEW communications system for the Washington and Flint Hill fire and rescue units has been established with dispatching headquarters in the sheriff’s office in Culpeper. It is important that residents of this area make note of the phone number for this service, which is 112-825-6655.. This is a long distance call from either of the Washington or Flint Hill areas; however, to obtain the new dispatching service, this is necessary, for there is no local base station.
