grand parade will wend its way up Route 211 and will be composed of marching units, floats, majorettes, fire and recue units and equipment, pretty girls and many other entries. Prizes and trophies will be awarded in a number of categories.
A box supper will be available at the food stand following the parade and in addition hotdogs, hamburgers, coffee, drinks and desserts will be offered for sale.
A carnival queen will be crowned Friday night, chosen from among seven young ladies vying for the title. She will reign as honorary lire chief for the next year, representing Amissville in parades and activites as required.
PRIZES will be awarded Saturday night as the benefit carnival draws to a close. Among prizes given will be $1000 cash and five $25 Savings bonds.
