He thought it should be restricted to recognized county groups and rented for a fee. A.Y. Stokes suggested that the agreement needed a clause placing responsibility on one specific person. “There ought to be some liability,’’ he said. Others agreed.
Board chairman E.N. Montague read a letter from Mrs. Jack Atkins, requesting use of the school building for three hours on Tuesday nights for a training program for the Rappahannock County Rescue Association. They would need one classroom with a blackboard and could demonstrate practical application in the hall, so as not to disturb a classroom. The class would start September 23 and continue for 72 hours worth of instruction.
