has champ Angus
Donna Faye Cannon showed the champion Angus heavyweight steer and was reserve grand champion of all breeds at the Culpeper Farm Show held last week in Culpeper. In addition she placed second in senior showing and fitting.
The beef was purchased by Safeway in Culpeper for $1.17 1/2 per pound making a total of $1175 for the thousand pound animal.
Exhibitors were from Orange, Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock counties. Donna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon of Castleton.D
