Textbook sale

The Rappahannock County Elementary School will conduct a textbook sale prior to the opening of school on Friday, August 22, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, August 23, from 9 a.m. to noon in the school auditorium.
Parents may buy new and second-hand books and pay book rental fees and the school fee on these dates. Insurance premiums will not be collected at this time but will be paid to the child’s teacher immediately after the opening of school. The spelling texts will come up for adoption in 1977 and the newly adopted dictionaries will not be available until next year, therefore if possible it would be wise to get second hand ones.
Student lunches will be 40tf this session and ice cream will be 10 and 15 cents.□
