Jenkins
James Haywood Jenkins, 83, of Sperryville died August 6, 1975 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer, the son of the late James Lud and Elnora Sisk Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Dodson Jenkins; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Jenkins of Gordonsville, Mrs. Clifton Sisk of Sperryville and Mrs. Boot Jenkins of Culpeper; three sons, William Haywood Jenkins of Culpeper, Jerry Jenkins of Woodville and Ivan Jenkins of Winchester; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and five great-greatgrandchildren; three brothers, Cooper Jenkins of Culpeper, Connor Jenkins of Boston, and Eg'bert Jenkins of Remington; and four sisters, Mrs. Ora Fincham and Mrs. Nettie Jenkins of Sperryville, Mrs. Venie Jenkins of Culpeper, and Mrs. Fairy Nichols of Madison.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Nethers Free Pentecostal Church by the Rev. Charles Clinedinst and the Rev. Kinsey Reed. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery. □
