PHIL IRWIN, president of the Rappahannock' League for Environmental Protection, asked if Weil had applied for water, sewer and health permits needed for a public recreation operation. Weil said he’d wait to do that until after the special use permit was granted. Irvin asked Weil if he’d still apply for the state permits even if he found they weren’t required in order to operate a private recreational resort. Weil said he thought most of the health permits \ would be required anyway, whether the operation was public or private.
Irwin said members of RLEP were disappointed that all aspects of the recreational development would be private. He wondered how much one of the 1500 shares would cost. Weil sort of hedged.
