Dwyer held a business meeting followed by luncheon at Big Meadows Lodge on Skyline Drive last Thursday.
Mrs. Carroll Quaintance was hostess to a joint birthday dinner on Saturday honoring Dr. Quaintance and his sister, Mrs. H. B. Wood, Sr. of Woodville. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. and son, Henry B. and Miss Mary Nell Blanton of Amelia.
Mrs. J. R. Shade of Falls Church and son Kenneth, who has returned after spending several months in Arizona, were guests from Thursday to Sunday of Mrs. Ruby Dwyer and Miss Ann Dwyer.
Mrs. R. E. Thompson, Mrs. Carroll Quaintance and Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood were dinner guests last Wednesday night of Mrs. Mary Quaintance at the Bonanza in Warren ton.
