Prenuptial parties included a luncheon given by Miss Barbara Hoke and a miscellaneous shower with Mrs. Ritchie Vaught as hostess. The rehearsal dinner, given by the bridegroom’s parents, was held at the Flint Hill fire hall.

MEETING POSTPONED

The Washington Volunteer Fire Department’s monthly meeting night, August 2 has been changed to Monday night, August 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the fire house. All members are urged to be present— important. The change in dates is just for the month of August, said Charlie Manson, Vice-President. □

Mrs. Elmo Flynt was hostess to the Washington Bridge Club and additional guests at her home Thursday night.
