Early Birds face
two tough games
The Amissville Early Birds baseball team will have two interesting games in the next two weeks. Sunday, August 1, they will play Nokesville on the Amissville diamond in what should be an exciting game, since these two teams are tied in the league standing.
Sunday, August 8, the Early Birds will again play on the home diamond, with Vint Hill as the opposing team. A win here will enable the local team to participate in the Northern Division League play-offs. Games begin at 4:30 p.m. and last about two hours. The support of the community fans could help to put the team over the top. □
