LIFETIME LICENSES

Virginia residents 65 and over are reminded that lifetime licenses that allow them to hunt, fish and trap in the Commonwealth are available for a one-time fee of $5. Applications for these licenses are available from the Game Commission office, 4010 West Broad St., Richmond, 23230. Virginia residents over 65 are also reminded that they do not need a license to fish only anywhere in Virginia, nor to hunt, fish and trap on private property in their county or city of residence. For persons just going fishing and over 65, all that is needed is some identification, (a driver’s license will do) that shows age. □
