The marriage of Miss Sharon Rae Foster to Roger Allen Dodson was solemnized Saturday, July 24, 1976 in the Flint Hill United Methodist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Foster and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Dodson, all of Flint Hill.
The Rev. C. Edward Pruitt of Mathews performed the doublering ceremony before an altar decorated with lighted candlelabra and an arrangement of white gladiolus and yellow daisies.
Mrs. Sandra Hawkins of Front Royal, sister of the bride, presented a program of contemporary music and the traditional marches.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her formal gown of white organza was fashioned with an empire bodice of Venice lace and seed pearls with matching
