The annual picnic of the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church will be held Sunday at the Shenandoah Country Club. Mrs. Rosa Mae Bussey of Salem spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie B. Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke were hosts to the Tice Family Reunion Sunday at their home. Commander (ret.) and Mrs. Art Krentz have returned after a trip to Ebensburg, Pa., where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Peresi; and to Fayettesville, N.C., where they visited their son and wife, Captain and Mrs. Art Kreutz.
Miss Dora Lee Chadwell returned home Saturday following a week’s visit in the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fidler and Keithren. After four weeks’ stay in the Winchester hospital, Mrs. Fidler was released Saturday to join her husband in convalescing at home.
Miss Lelia North has returned home after observation and treatment for two weeks in Winchester Memorial Hospital.
