Mrs. Margaret Wayland Bilz and son, Jr. J. R. Harris *• have returned to their homes in Seattle, Wash, after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wayland. Prior to their departure a family picnic was held on the Shenandoah River near Front Royal. James Nelson Rector of Marshall was a recent overnight guest of the Waylands. Saturday overnight guests were Steve Brown and Mitz Jomer of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland Jr. of Dale City.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Codding and family of Fairfax spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins. Hayden and Cady Codding remained until Tuesday with their grandparents.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers accompanied by Mrs. Robert Nethers of Flint Hill spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Guessford in Williamsport, Md. Mrs. Charles Lipphard and children, Melanie and Philip of Oxonhill, Md. were
