Mrs. Lee Atkins entertained Thursday evening with a birthday dinner for her husband and her granddaughter, lisa. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. James Atkins and Todd of Luray, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker and Chucky of Woodville, Mrs. Henry Wharton, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Atkins, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wharton, Mrs. Melvin Atkins, Tammy, Robin, and Ray, and Mrs. Bertie Atkins, Ruth, Elsie and Alice.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Wingfield, Denise and Cathy have returned home after a vacation in the Fingerlake region of New York. Enroute home they visited Mrs. Wingfield’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fomoff, in Lancaster County, Pa.

Bridge Club

Mrs. W. H. Cordle was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home Friday night.

Guests included Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. I. O. Wolf, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Dale Metzinger and Mrs. Mary Quaintance.

Prize winners were Mrs. Reeve, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Thompsen and Mrs. Quaintance.
