In a mimeographed sheet attached to the ordinance amendments, Davis maintained that Supervisors' favorable consideration of the proposals would clarify the Board’s “original purpose and intent and bring a quick end to the troublesome and expensive litigation now pending."
There was little discussion of either the building permit or the ordinance amend ments on Thursday. Supervisor H. B. Wood, who cast the single vote in opposition to granting the permit, voiced the only opposition.
