A press release issued by the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries on July 27 contained an error in regard to the closing date of the early part of the Split-Dove Season.
The season will open at noon each day beginning on Sept. 9 and will close on Nov. 4, not Nov. 9, as previously stated. The Dove Season will reopen on Dec. 23 and will continue until Jan. 4, 1979.
Bag limit for doves will be 12 birds per day with a maximum of 24 doves in possession after the openipg date.
