The area was originally zoned B2 because it was a ski area, according to Moore. “There’d be no reason for the B2 zoning without skiing," he said, describing the BZA's decision to deny that part of the special use permit application as “illogical.”
“This thing has dragged on now for some ten months," Moore continued, noting that the ski area had applied for a special use permit because of the "peculiarity of being zoned B2 in a conservation district.
