In the operation of the sanctuary, the Audubon Society will provide sponsorship and occasional monitoring of the program, including visits by technically trained field representatives to assure that all opportunities for professional management and improvement are seized upon.
The role of PEC will be to publicize and support the program, acting as the administrative center to arrange for the use of the sanctuary by interested visitors and groups, and it is hoped that many will want to use it.
A number of trail walks averaging about five easy miles each are being established, and rules for the use of the property are simple and straightforward. Copies may be obtained at the Piedmont Environmental Council.
