A funeral service for Jeremiah Peyton Atkins Jr.. b3. of Culpeper were held Friday at the graveside in Fairview Cemetery. Culpeper, conducted bv the Rev. Robert K. Flawkins. Mr. Atkins, a native of Sperryville and former resident of Amissville, died November 20, 147K while hunting near Amissville.
Fie was a son of the late Jeremiah P. Atkins and the late Caroline Dodson, and was a charter member of the Amissville Fire Department. Fie was a retired farmer and newspaper dealer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Kinsey Atkins, two daughters. Mrs. Bern Allman of Bransom, Mo. and Mrs. Mary Alice Floffman ol Culpeper, two sons, Jeremiah Atkins III and Donald F Atkins, both of Culpeper; and a step-son, John Mason Sherman of Front Royal; and nine grandchildren.
