The Board voted unanimously to accept his recommendation that Rappahannock schools participate in the rinse program.

The School Board agreed to a revised meeting scheduled that calls for three special budget sessions. On February 20th, the Board will hold an “input hearing” to receive proposals from interested organizations and individuals. “Then the Superintendent will make out a budget and present it to the School Board for consideration at the March 6th meeting,” explained Chairman Beverly Massie. The proposed budget will be adopted at the Board’s meeting on March 20th and presented to the Supervisors before April 1 with a request
for early approval so that teachers may be offered contracts for the coming year.
