Problems with sewage disposal tH|t have plagued the Rappahannock School Board for almost two years have .apparently been resolved, according to a report delivered to the School Board members at last week's meeting by Robert Barnes.
Barnes, a representative from Environmental Systems Services in Culpeper, told the Board that recent tests show both the elementary and high school operating within the compliance regulations for sewage discharge set by the Virginia State Water Control Board (SWCB). He reported that a discharge permit had been issued to the high school, effective November 15. “There's some confusion related to whether (the high school’s sand filter system) is discharging at all."
