anu ivirs. a. m. Neyser joined by Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood of Sperryville were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Miss Katherine Munn and Miss Margaret Ludwig in Vienna. Saturday Mrs. Brown Miller entertained the Keysets and Mrs. Mary Quaintance at the Teepee in honor of Mr. Keyser's 75th birthday and they played bridge afterwards.

Mrs. R. V. Snead Jr. of Lynchburg and Mrs. Lee Dillard of Pennsylvania and their children were callers of Miss Annie Miller Almond Thanksgiving morning. Her Saturday visitors were Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Norman Sims of Sperryville. Calling Sunday was R. V. Snead Jr. of Lynchburg and C. E. Giles Jr. and son Skip. Miss Almond was a dinner guest Thanksgiving day of Mrs. Sarah Latham in Amissville. Judge and Mrs. W. F. Moftett Jr. spent the Thanksgiving holiday as the guests of their daughter, Mrs. Craig Welling and granddaughter, Judith Carter, in Gales Ferry, Conn. Lt. Commander Welling is on three and one-half months of submarine sea duty. Friday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne was Charles Edward Pavne of •
