Aaron buys all his own equipment with his allowance and money that he earns from odd jobs. “I got a $30 fishing rod at a yard sale for $5. It had never even been used,” the wise shopper announced. Aaron’s mother and father are both pleased as can be with their son’s newest hobby but their support has been influenced by factors other than the fresh air and sunshine that Aaron picks up while hanging around streams and ponds.
