a community assistance program, now in the developing stage, has been reported by George Kidwell, chairman of the Human Development, a relative new committee of the Amissville Ruritan Club.
Various aids and auxiliary equipment used in convalescence or long term illness are being collected and offered for public use, at no charge.
Wheel chairs, hospital beds, crutches and walkers are items that will become available. All this sans federal funding, without government bureaucracy, simply provided for by old fashioned do unto others inspiration. All equipment will be available at T. C. Barron’s Viewtown Store.
A request is made that additional donations or loans, by the public, of any apparatus or aids used in convalescent illness be made to George Kidwell.
