Mrs. Annie Maude Dodson, 94, of Flint Hill, died Wednesday, March 21, 1979, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.
Funeral services were held Friday at Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church at Sperryville conducted by the Rev. Pete Martin and the Rev. Addison Marrow. Interment was at Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Dodson was born August 3, 1884, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late John Henry and Almarie Dodson Atkins. She was the wife of the late Jake B. Dodson, Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. May Anna Atkins of Flint Hill and Mrs. Virginia Gochenour of Luray; 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; also a sister, Mamie Pullen of Culpeper.
